There's a lot more here than meets the eye. The background image is a representation of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. I drew it freehand in pencil, inked it, scanned it in, manipulated it in photoshop, printed it, got out the pens again, then rescanned it. Behind all of that, there's some more imagery that simply exists to give the "wires" a bit of character. Whew. I love working on new projects like a world premiere. If you don't know the story of Robert Moses and Joseph Papp, you should read it. Terrific stuff. Design: MRB for Round House Theatre, 2002 original artwork, royalty-free image, text File has vanished; this is a scan, hence the odd washed out quality of the image.
